Free Criminal Records Check – How I Do It

without comments

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my site that shows you the easiest way that I’ve found to do free criminal records checks.

I’m the recruitment manager for a fair sized company in the auto-parts wholesale industry and doing employee criminal background checks is part-and-parcel of our standard recruitment procedure. I used to pay a 3rd party to do these checks for me and was charged a fee for each search – but a little while ago I thought I’d just check to see if there was a cheaper and indeed, quicker way to conduct these searches.

My instincts told me that with so much information now freely available on the Internet, that there had to be some resources available that would allow me to do an online background check on any particular person that we were considering recruiting. And sure enough with a little research, I did discover some sites that offered this functionality. A lot of these sites advertised themselves as offering free criminal records checks but when you got down to the nitty-gritty what they were really offering was free access to easily obtained public records such as addresses, phone numbers, marriage certificates etc – and that if you wanted to access national crime records, then they’d hit you up for a fee.

This was why I was so pleasantly surprised when I discovered the Gov-Resources.com website. I’ve got no problem with paying for something of value (and indeed I’ve been in business long enough to know that nothing of value comes without some sort of cost attached) but I like to know what those costs are going to be upfront. With the Gov-Resources.com website you pay a once-off negligible fee (less than $30), and then after that you’re free to do unlimited criminal background checks for free for a period of 5 years.

The Gov-Recources.com database has over 200 million records and has access to every public record database in each state of the U.S. In addition to this it also allows you to conduct searches in Canada, the UK and Australia – which I find helpful because we do do our fair share of international recruiting as well.

So from a professional perspective, I’ve found this resource to be extremely helpful as well as a big time and money saver. But I’ve also had great cause to use it from a personal perspective as well which is probably the reason why I’ve gone to the trouble of creating this website.

The Gov-Resources.com website doesn’t just allow you to do free criminal background checks, it also allows to access a whole host of other databases – such as bankruptcy records, ancestry archives, birth records, marriage records etc. Recently my sister met a new guy and though she couldn’t quite put her finger on it, had some sort of premonition that there wasn’t something quite right about his story. When she spoke to me about this, I was able to quickly get online and conduct a background search on the Gov-Resources.com. Lo and behold – we found out that this guy was still married! (a little fact he’d managed to neglect telling my sister)

So, if you have a need or desire to ever do a free criminal records check, or indeed access any other public records database then I strongly recommeds that you check out the Gov-Resources website.
